Achieving Mastership (MAGD) is a professional designation within the Academy of General Dentistry beyond Fellowship (FAGD) and reflects a general dentist's ongoing commitment to provide the best possible patient care through intensive continuing education.
Masters have been trained by the best to be the best.
A member achieving this distinction has completed a challenging, comprehensive course of hands-on study in 16 dental disciplines, totaling 1100 hours of continuing education (600 additional hours after FAGD).
More than 1,300 members have achieved Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD), the highest distinction that a member can achieve through our continuing education program.
Masters celebrate their professional accomplishment during a Convocation ceremony and at the AGD Gala held each year at the Annual Meeting.
